The Councilor for Health of the Arrecife City Council, Jacobo Lemes, reports that next Sunday, May 5, the San Román cemetery will open its doors continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on the occasion of the celebration of Mother's Day.
This initiative seeks to offer everyone the opportunity to pay tribute to their loved ones on this significant day. "It is a special day and we want to ensure that those who wish to visit the cemetery to honor their mothers can do so comfortably," said Lemes.
The usual visiting hours to the municipal cemetery are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but for this occasion it has been decided to extend it to allow greater flexibility for visitors.
In addition, as part of the preparations for this day, the central area of San Román will be decorated with flower arrangements and bouquets, creating a respectful and welcoming environment.
