Pre-alert declared for strong waves in Lanzarote and La Graciosa

Bad sea conditions are expected with waves that can reach between 2.5 and 4 meters in height

The General Directorate of Emergencies, based on the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency, has declared the pre-alert for coastal phenomena in Lanzarote and La Graciosa from 12:00 hours this Wednesday.

Bad sea conditions are expected with waves that can reach between 2.5 and 4 meters in height. The wind will blow from the west and northwest with a force of 2 to 5 between 11 and 38 kilometers per hour, although from midnight this Wednesday it will reach 39 to 61 kilometers per hour.

This situation will also affect La Gomera, the northeast, north and west coast of La Palma, the north and west coast of El Hierro, the north coast of Tenerife and Gran Canaria and the north and west coast of Fuerteventura.
