The General Directorate of Emergencies has announced the entry into force of the pre-alert for coastal phenomena in Lanzarote from 6:00 p.m. this Wednesday based on the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
The affected area will be the north and west coast of Lanzarote, although the warning also extends to the islands of Fuerteventura, La Palma, El Hierro and Tenerife.
The sea will experience an increase in swell from the sea starting this afternoon with ripples to marejadilla, which will cause the waves to reach 2 to 3 meters in height.
Regarding the meteorological prediction for this Thursday in Lanzarote, the island will have cloudy intervals, tending to be slightly cloudy or clear from noon. For its part, temperatures will have few changes or a slight increase, with minimums of 21 degrees and maximums of 28. The wind will be light from variable direction, with west and north components predominating.
