A new precarious vessel with 41 people on board has been rescued this Friday, September 25, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The inflatable boat was about 80 nautical miles from Lanzarote. Among the people traveling in the makeshift boat are three women, and all are of sub-Saharan origin and in apparent good health.
With these, there are nine precarious vessels that have arrived on the island with around 492 migrant people since Tuesday who have been attended to at the Temporary Attention Center for Foreigners (CATE) in Arrecife, where they will be fingerprinted by the National Police, who will collect their data.
