Around 25 students from the Pharmacy Technician cycle of CIFP Zonzamas received a theoretical class this Thursday given by the member of the Official College of Pharmacists of Las Palmas in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Alicia Wildpret.

After that, they attended a practical session in the warehouse of the Canarian Pharmaceutical Cooperative (Cofarca), located in Arrecife, to expand on the theoretical class on pharmaceutical distribution. They were received by the Technical Director of the Warehouse, María Dolores del Nero.

In addition, the company Cofarca moved its Head of Warehouse Production, José Alonso, from Gran Canaria to explain firsthand how the drug distribution process works.

The practice of master classes given by the member of the College of Pharmacists has been carried out for the first time in this academic year. "I have come three times and two more classes are planned for after Easter," Wildpret told La Voz.

"The students appreciate it very much, as do the teachers," she reported. At least four teachers also attended the visit. "It is not the same to talk in class as it is for them to arrive and see how it is, how it works," she pointed out in statements to this media outlet.
