The orchestra Nueva Línea announced this Monday, through a statement published on its official Instagram account, the departure of its four vocalists due to "disagreements in the management of the group's image".
Alicia Padilla, Sofía Marrero, Raquel González, and Mayte Cabrera, the original voices of the group and protagonists of its period of greatest projection, will no longer be part of the project. The news has surprised their followers, especially after the success achieved by the band in recent months.
In the statement, Nueva Línea assures that the rest of the members remain fully committed to the project and to the commitments acquired for this season.
The group is going through one of the moments of greatest impact in its career after the national viralization of the covers of "Noche de copas" and "Un beso" on TikTok. That momentum allowed them to sign with the record label Universal Music and expand their presence in the music scene.
In addition, they recently participated in Quevedo's album *El Baifo* with a collaboration that exceeds 65 million streams on Spotify and accumulates more than 11 million views on YouTube.
The departure of the vocalists has also become known on the same day that the music video for "Al Golpito", the collaboration between Quevedo and Nueva Línea, was released, coinciding with the traditional musical event that the artist from Gran Canaria celebrates every July 7th.
For the moment, it is unknown who will take the place of the four singers and if there will be changes in the composition of the orchestra. No modifications have been reported in the summer tour, so, in principle, the performances scheduled in Lanzarote remain: on July 27th in Conil and on July 28th in Puerto del Carmen.
