Canal Gestión has reported this Wednesday that nine towns in Lanzarote have woken up with water cuts. This was announced by the company in charge of water supply on the island, cuts that affect areas of the municipalities of Haría, Tinajo, Teguise and Tías.
Throughout the day, the following will be affected by eventual water cuts: Maguez (Haría), the town of Tinajo, La Vegueta and El Cuchillo. In addition to Los Valles, Muñique and Soo (Teguise) and finally, Tías and the area of Tegoyo.
Another nine towns affected last Friday
In addition, last Friday the company announced the water cuts in nine towns on the island. The area most affected by the supply shortage was the north of Lanzarote. Specifically, the towns of Haría, Maguez, Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, all in the municipality of Haría, woke up that day without supply.
To this was added the town of Güime, in San Bartolomé and the towns of Macher, in Tías, and Yaiza and Uga, in Yaiza, also had no water that Friday. As on Friday, August 9, in which five towns on the island also suffered cuts of water.
