Maritime Rescue has rescued a new boat in waters near Lanzarote. The events occurred this Sunday morning at approximately 07.45 hours about 33 nautical miles north of Lanzarote.

There are 42 people of Maghreb origin traveling in the boat, including two minors. According to CECOES, everyone is in apparent good health.

The Guardamar Polimnia transfers them to Puerto Naos in Arrecife and their arrival is estimated at around 10.15 hours, CECOES points out.

Together with the boat intercepted this Saturday afternoon, there would already be 93 people who have arrived in Lanzarote in less than 24 hours.
