Little Brave donates material to the Molina Orosa Hospital to improve the stay of hospitalized children

The manager of Sanitary Services of Lanzarote, attached to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, Raúl Otín, the director of the Health Area of the Island, Erasmo García, and the president of the Association of Children with Cancer Little Brave, José Jerez, accompanied by other members of the management team of the hospital, participated this Tuesday in the presentation of the technological and didactic material donated by Little Brave to the Hospital Classroom of the conejero center.

Among the donated objects are an interactive plasma "whose benefits result both in the recreational and educational field of hospitalized children, as it is a very influential educational tool in the learning process and access to information, in addition to facilitating the patient's interactivity with the operating system", they point out from the Ministry of Health. 

An electric bubble machine has also been incorporated into the Hospital Classroom, which can generate multiple soap bubbles simultaneously, and a light focus that allows illuminating certain areas of the room with different colors and regulating its intensity depending on the activities and the ambient sound.

On the other hand, Little Brave has donated a magnetic puzzle doll "which, through an augmented reality application for mobile devices, allows working in a very attractive way different educational content such as the organs of the senses and vital functions, in addition to transmitting knowledge about health education, equality, and tools that help reduce children's fears when performing medical tests".

The Hospital Classroom of the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital is constituted by two spaces: a cyberclassroom and a school, "where communication and relationship activities are carried out with children and an environment based on trust and security relationships is fostered", they point out from the Ministry of Health.
