Family and social gatherings

Given the proliferation of social and family outbreaks, which together account for 87.08 percent of the total outbreaks reported this week, the Ministry of Health has once again emphasized the importance of strictly following prevention measures against Covid-19 (use of masks, proper hand hygiene, ventilation of rooms and safety distance) in family gatherings and with friends, both in homes and in catering establishments or lodging facilities.

“In this summer season, family and social gatherings, trips and celebrations such as weddings, baptisms and birthdays are very common, so it is recommended to reduce the risk of contagion, complying with the capacity in these gatherings and, as far as possible, avoid this type of celebrations until the incidence of the pandemic in the Canary Islands is reduced”, reiterate from the Ministry
