Lanzarote, on pre-alert this Monday for high temperatures

According to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency, thermometers may reach 34 degrees

Lanzarote is also on pre-alert for maximum temperatures starting this Monday at 1:00 p.m., as reported this Sunday by the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife are also on pre-alert for maximum temperatures.

The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies, based on the prediction of AEMET and other available sources, reports that it is expected that 34 degrees may be reached, and that temperature may be exceeded on time.

It will especially affect inland areas and slopes facing south and southeast of the islands.
