Lanzarote mourns the death of David Bonilla Curbelo

The ambulance technician, who dedicated part of his life to emergency services in Arrieta, has passed away at the age of 44.

Lanzarote mourns the death of David Bonilla Curbelo. The resident of Haría passed away this Saturday, June 6, at the age of 44. Bonilla had worked in recent years in the basic life support emergency ambulance number 1315 in Arrieta. He then spent some time in non-urgent medical transport.

A large part of his family is from the north of the island and he was well-loved by his colleagues. In addition to his work as an ambulance technician, Bonilla was also a motorcycle enthusiast. "He was a very loved, humble, smiling, empathetic, and wonderful guy," one of his colleagues revealed to this outlet.

Bonilla Curbelo is survived by his mother Consuelo Curbelo Morales, as well as his two sons Álvaro and Alejandro Bonilla Roucco, his brothers Yacorey and Francisco Manuel Bonilla Curbelo, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

The wake will take place at the Mémora crematorium, located on the road between Arrecife and San Bartolomé, from 3:00 PM this Sunday. The farewell will take place at 1:00 PM this Monday and he will be buried in the San Román Cemetery in Arrecife.
