Lanzarote adds five positive cases of Covid and active cases rise to 84

In the last day, two discharges have been reported and 142 Covid tests have been carried out on the island

The Ministry of Health has reported this Monday five new cases of Covid in Lanzarote. In addition, in the last day only two discharges have been registered, so the active cases have risen, standing at 84.

In total, on Sunday, the Ministry of Health carried out 142 tests on the island, below the previous days, when it had been doing around 200. In addition, of those tests only one tested positive, according to the data released by the Ministry, so the rest could come from private laboratories or cases diagnosed in previous days and notified this Monday.

With this latest data, the accumulated incidence in Lanzarote stands this Monday at 28.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days and 55.8 in 14 days.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,571 cases of Covid-19 have already been diagnosed on the island, of which 4,441 have overcome the disease and 46 have died.
