The Ministry of Health has added a total of 85 new positive cases of Covid in the last 4 days in Lanzarote. In addition, 114 discharges have been reported since Friday, so the active cases are 196 on the Island.
In relation to the number of tests carried out, in the last 4 days a total of 679 were carried out in Lanzarote, an average of 169 per day.
The accumulated incidence is currently in Lanzarote at 122.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 7 days and 258 at 14.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 21,569 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 21,305 would have already overcome the disease and 69 died.
It should be remembered that since this Monday the isolations of asymptomatic people or with mild symptoms have been eliminated, and that even the tests have stopped being done "in general". In addition, the Ministry of Health has announced that this update is "the last one that will be carried out following the general data of accumulated incidence, assets and performance of diagnostic tests".
This decision is taken by the Covid-19 Surveillance Strategy, agreed by the Ministry of Health and the autonomous communities, which has modified the control indicators since this week, prioritizing those that allow analyzing the severity and hospital pressure.
