This Sunday, May 30, "El Cubo de la Mareta", by the artist Tanaúsu Rivero, was inaugurated in the Mareta de Teguise.
The mayor of Teguise, Juan Pedro Hernández, and the Councilor for Tourism, Rita Hernández, stated that they were "doubly satisfied with the sculpture, because it was made by the young people of the Municipal School of Painting, with the technical direction of their teacher, and also because the historic center of La Villa is improving".
The work was carried out for a month by thirteen students from the Municipal School of Painting and recreates Canary Island environments on its four faces.
