Next Sunday the 8th, the ascent of the Virgen de Los Dolores to her church located in Mancha Blanca is celebrated. For this reason, the Cabildo of Lanzarote will proceed to close some roads so that citizens and the image of the Virgin can safely reach the municipality of Tinajo. The start of the walk will take place from the Church of San Ginés, in Arrecife, at 6:00 a.m.
Vehicles may not be parked on the sides of the following roads from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7. In addition, it is reported that the opening hours of the roads are conditioned to the development of the pilgrimage, and the opening hours of the road may be considerably affected depending on the volume of participation.
