Juan Antonio de la Hoz, a historical member of CC and a prominent figure in political life in Lanzarote, passed away this Tuesday, September 9. Throughout his career, he held different public responsibilities in the municipality of San Bartolomé and throughout the island.
De la Hoz was deputy mayor of San Bartolomé, in 2005 he assumed the presidency of the local committee of the Canarian Coalition in the municipality, and later held the position of Heritage councilor in the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
In 2015 he was appointed coordinator of the Island Education Office of Lanzarote.
