Insólita Jameos del Agua, a new experience from the Centers to discover the Jameo de La Cazuela

The CEO of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, Benjamín Perdomo, has hosted the group of agents and tour operators that has participated in Insólita-Jameos del Agua, one of the three new Premium products with which the entity wants to attract the interest of visitors eager to live new experiences in the spaces created by César Manrique.

Insólita Jameos del Agua is a journey of an hour and a half through volcanism, geology and the perfect symbiosis achieved between art and life in the emblematic volcanic tube transformed by César Manrique. The tour starts in the Jameo Chico, from which you can see the Tunnel of the Atlantis where up to 38 endemisms live, and takes the visitor to see the Jameo de La Cazuela, which is accessed through the imposing stage of the Auditorium, after passing through the lake where the famous blind crabs live and the Jameo Grande.

"La Cazuela is a unique space within a unique space" explains Benjamín Perdomo, who "encourages residents and tourists to discover a place that is also part of the impressive artistic catalog of Jameos del Agua." In the Jameo de La Cazuela, which is only open to the public at special events, there are two waterfalls, one visible from the Auditorium, and another in the back that is reached after climbing some stairs.

The visit, which will be in small groups, concludes in the Galería bar, where you can enjoy an aperitif consisting of "local products."

The counselor explains that with these new proposals they want to "reach new and repeat tourists who, after the pandemic, are looking for unforgettable experiences in safe and open-air spaces around cultural, artistic, heritage and ethnographic heritage."

Among the attending agents were representatives of Jumbo Tours, Meeting Point, MT Global, MTS Incoming and Jet2 Holidays, Low Cost Tour Europe, Central de reservas, Lanzarote Experience, First Minute, In Destination Management, TUI, Viajes Tara, Lanzarote Guides, Blackstone-treck, Aboraservice, APIT and Ágora Experiencias.
