The Lanzarote fighter Hecher Sosa will face one of the most important fights of his life this Wednesday morning in the Dana White's Contender Series against Mackson Lee after the death of his father this weekend, Domingo Sosa Ramos.
Sosa, who was a collaborator in Torrelavega, had been battling an illness for some time. In his Instagram profile, the fighter has said that it was his brother who called him in the early morning to inform him that his father had passed away. "I said okay and hung up, nothing else came out of me. I hung up to start crying, break down and feel a pain so strong that I couldn't explain it," he explained.
In statements on social networks, a few days before the great fight that will take place this coming morning at 01:00 hours, Hecher Sosa has pointed out that "he left us in life so that his soul could fly to Las Vegas to be with me present and be two in the cage".
"I have to continue with the fight because I am a man of my word and I have to honor the memory of my father, we will be together in that cage... I am going to win this fight and I don't care who the opponent is in front of me, I am going to break him in two", he stressed.
