Health clarifies that the fourth dose will be, in principle, for those over 80 years of age

The Ministry of Health has decided to clarify Carolina Darias' announcement, where she maintained that "there will be a fourth dose for the entire population", claiming that, for the moment, the Public Health Commission has not approved that this vaccine against the coronavirus be extended to the whole of Spain.

Therefore, from Health they insist that, for the moment. the current recommendation approved last Thursday remains, which maintains giving a fourth reminder to the most vulnerable population, that is, to people over 80 years of age and residents of nursing homes.

Although there is still no specific date, this inoculation could arrive from September, when the arrival of serums adapted to new variants is scheduled.
