One of the events that marked the San Juan night were the Haría Awards, which were presented to the collective of artisans and producers of the Haría Artesanal tourist experience, in recognition of their outstanding social, cultural, and economic work in favor of the municipality.

Another of the events was the posthumous appointment of Juan Santana as the Favorite Son of the town, a tribute that served to honor the memory and valuable contribution of an illustrious neighbor who, with his outstanding career, marked the social and cultural development of the north of the island.

San Juan night in Haría began with the musical performance by Malpeis, a recently formed group that, in just over a year of trajectory, has managed to win the public's affection. It was born as a parranda, driven by the need to continue making music and to recover the enthusiasm for sharing stages, rehearsals, and experiences. Over time, it has evolved into a musical ensemble with a much broader and more varied repertoire.

The group is made up of José Vicente Pérez on the timple; Adrián Niz on the Spanish guitar; Roberto Gil on the electric guitar; Miguel Ángel Cabrera on the piano; Omar Pérez on the electric bass; Jorge Umpiérrez on percussion; Genaro Pérez, percussionist and soloist; and Óscar Betancor, also a soloist. Accompanying them always is their sound technician, Ivanhoe Rodríguez.
