La Graciosa registers the first positive case of covid since the health crisis began. It is a tourist from Catalonia, as La Voz has learned. The eighth island had managed to remain without any case of coronavirus for six months, since the first positive case occurred in Spain, specifically on January 30 in La Gomera.
On the other hand, the two brothers who landed this Wednesday on the island on a flight from Bologna, in Italy, have tested negative, as confirmed by the Lanzarote Health Management.
The active cases in Lanzarote are eleven, seven immigrants from the boat that arrived on July 8, the passenger who arrived from Mexico, the two residents who returned to the island from Ukraine and the Dominican Republic, and the tourist from La Graciosa.
