This Sunday was the last goodbye to the businessman José Cabrera, founder of the Tiagua Group, who died this Saturday at the age of 88.
A mass that took place this Sunday in the church of San Roque and in which his colleagues from the Rancho de Pascua Archinech de Tinajo sang 'Canten los pastores' and "with this song Don José leaves, may he rest in peace". A very emotional moment in which Urbano, president of the group, explained that a great teacher and a great person is leaving and that he will always be in our memory."
After the mass, the coffin was taken to Mémora in Arrecife and the hearse was accompanied by a caravan of trucks from the Tiagua Group and other carriers who wanted to pay tribute to him.
His son scar wrote on his social networks: "Today has been a very special day, a day full of emotions and mixed feelings. On the one hand, the sorrow of knowing that I will not see my father again, that person who taught me from a very young age the culture of effort and instilled in me his values of life. On the other hand, the pride that I feel to see the affection that so many people have sent to the family, especially to each and every one of the members of the Rancho De Pascua, who with Urbano Herndez at the helm have moved each and every one of those present at this special farewell that they have given to my father José Cabrera Cabrera."
"On behalf of the entire family, I want to publicly thank you for this tribute that I am sure my father has enjoyed as he enjoyed it in life. Thank you for joining us in this last goodbye and helping us to give him the farewell that he undoubtedly deserves. Although he is no longer physically present, he will always be accompanying the ranch in each rehearsal, in each performance and for us this group will be part of our family forever. Thank you"
