The Three Wise Men on their visit to Lanzarote in 2021

Like every year, their majesties the Three Wise Men from the East will come to Lanzarote to distribute gifts to the children who have been good, and will pass through each of the municipalities on the island. We tell you what their routes will be.

Arrecife

In the capital, the Royal Delegation of the East will begin its journey at 6:00 p.m. with the Grand Parade of the Magi, which will depart from the Fairgrounds and end at the Las Bolas Bridge, where the fireworks display will take place.

Their majesties will ride in floats accompanied, as in previous years, by their pages and also royal postmen, so that those latecomers who have not sent the letter with their wishes and requests can do so that same afternoon.

At the end of the event, the whole family can enjoy the Gran Concierto de Bohemia Lanzarote in El Almacén.

Yaiza and Playa Blanca

In the Yaiza territory, the activity starts early: at 9:00 a.m., Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will be welcomed.

To liven up the wait for the little ones, workshops will be held from 3:30 p.m. next to the Plaza de Los Remedios, from where later, at 5:00 p.m., the parade will begin, passing through the main streets of the towns of the municipality.

After that, their majesties will move to Playa Blanca, where the children will also be waiting for them from 5:30 p.m. while participating in workshops and activities.

In this case, the route will begin at 7:00 p.m., since the Kings have to have time to move from the center of the town to the coast.

San Bartolomé

The inhabitants of San Bartolomé are, this year, the luckiest in Lanzarote, since they will have the opportunity to be the first to see the Kings.

On Wednesday, January 4, the three magicians will begin their route through the civic centers of the municipality, where at 5:00 p.m. they will visit El Islote, at 6:00 p.m. Montaña Blanca and will end the tour in Güime at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday the 5th, the great parade will take place in Playa Honda and San Bartolomé. From the Explanada de Guacimeta the delegation will leave at 5:00 p.m., going along Avenida to the height of Calle Princesa Ico.

At the end, the Three Wise Men will arrive at 7:30 p.m. at the IES San Bartolomé where they will begin their journey along Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera, Calle Calderetas and Párroco San Martín, ending in the Plaza León y Castillo del Ayuntamiento.

As a novelty, this year, for the first time, the event will be inclusive, with a PMR area (accessible parking space for authorized vehicles with a vehicle certificate with reduced mobility) and the accompaniment of occupational therapists.

Haría

In the case of Haría, Their Majesties The Three Wise Men will arrive by boat at the Arrieta dock at 4:00 p.m., from where they will visit the entire town until they reach the Town Hall, where they will be given the master key of the municipality that opens all the houses, so that they can deposit the gifts of all families.

From the town hall itself, the traditional parade will begin at 6:30 p.m..

Tías and Puerto del Carmen

Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will arrive at 11:00 a.m. at the Puerto del Carmen dock, where after disembarking they will collect the letters from the children who have not yet sent them in the Plaza del Varadero.

In the afternoon, from 6:00 p.m., the parade will take place in Tías, which will begin from the La Casona roundabout and reach the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández "Pancho" football field.

In the stadium, the Kings will greet the attendees and their assistants will collect the rest of the letters.

Teguise and Costa Teguise

The inhabitants of Teguise will also have to get up early: at 9:00 a.m. the key to the city will be handed over to their majesties, in the Plaza de los Leones de la Villa de Teguise.

After that, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the magic trio will visit the different towns of the municipality, until at 7:00 p.m., they will finally celebrate their tour from La Molina, next to the school, to the Plaza de los Leones. The Kings will be accompanied by animation groups.

Tinajo

In Tinajo, the parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. from the football field to the Plaza de San Roque. Once there, the Kings will receive the master key that gives access to all the houses in the municipality, so that the Tinajeros can also have their gifts on the 6th in the morning.

Their majesties, also in La Graciosa

Finally, their majesties will also take a ferry from Lanzarote to reach La Graciosa, where they will take a tour of the main streets of the island, greeting all the Gracioseros and collecting the requests of the little ones.
