The municipalities with the most cultural and ideological associations are Arrecife (289), Teguise (139) and Tías (101).
After these, with quite a difference, are the sports, recreational and youth associations, which total 216. Arrecife, being the municipality with the most inhabitants, is the one with the most sports associations registered, specifically 97 of the total. After the capital of Lanzarote, there is Teguise (40) and San Bartolomé (27), as well as to a lesser extent Tías (17), Haría (12), Yaiza (12) and Tinajo (11).
To a lesser extent are the Neighborhood associations (84) and Educational associations (83), as well as Social Action (67), Philanthropic and Welfare (56), Economic and Professional (55), Family, Consumer and Senior Citizen (29), as well as those related to Women (14).
In total, the municipalities with the most registered associations are Arrecife (618), Teguise (261), Tías (177), San Bartolomé (172), Yaiza (94), Haría (78) and, finally, Tinajo (59).
