Lanzarote has added a new death of a patient with Covid, as reported by the Ministry of Health. With this death, there are now 77 registered on the island since the pandemic began, four of them last August.
As for the Canary Islands as a whole, since last Friday it has added four deaths, including that of Lanzarote.
The other three deaths have occurred in Tenerife, which has registered two, and in Gran Canaria. All were between 84 and 90 years old and were in hospital.
In addition, in the last four days, 183 new positives have been recorded in the archipelago among people over 60 years of age, which is the only age group that continues to be monitored.
The Cumulative Incidence for this age group at 14 days stands at 170.80 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days at 79.75.
Currently, in the Archipelago there are 79 people admitted to hospital for coronavirus, of which seven are in the ICU and the rest, 72, are on the ward.
