Under the slogan “United for childhood, driven by solidarity,” Colegio Arenas Internacional celebrated its Charity Race this Wednesday, an initiative that brought together all its students, from Early Childhood Education to High School, around the values of cooperation, social commitment, and empathy.
The event, organized by the 1st-year students of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, aimed to raise funds for UNICEF, supporting mothers and children in developing countries. Each participant completed circuits adapted to their age, combining effort and motivation to contribute to this charitable cause.
The event featured the exceptional godmother Victoria Romero Martín, a 4th-year ESO student and Spanish Synchronized Swimming champion, who accompanied the students for part of the route and shared her experiences, reinforcing the values of effort and overcoming challenges.
Students participated enthusiastically alongside the teaching staff, reinforcing the importance of active learning and social awareness. This activity reflects the commitment of Colegio Arenas Internacional to training young people capable of improving the world they live in, as established by the IB learner profile. In the previous edition, the Charity Race managed to raise 2,406 euros, demonstrating the involvement of the entire educational community.
With this initiative, Colegio Arenas Internacional reinforces its commitment to a comprehensive education, where academic achievements are combined with the transmission of fundamental human values to build a more just and supportive future
