The Society of Culture, Sports and Recreation Casa del Miedo celebrated last Saturday, August 16, the summer meeting "White Afternoon", an activity that brought together nearly a hundred members in the halls of the entity, located on the banks of the Charco de San Ginés.
The event, which lasted from noon until night, took place in a festive and convivial atmosphere, where music, white clothing and surprises prepared by the organization were the protagonists. The traditional lunch prior to the patron saint festivities of San Ginés, consisting of rice with octopus, ice cream and homemade pastries, sold out in a few days, confirming the great interest aroused among the membership. At the same time, the Charco promenade welcomed throughout the day those who came to enjoy the musical atmosphere and the good atmosphere.
The board of directors of the Society highlighted the high participation and thanked all the attendees for their involvement, as well as the work of the organizing team, which was fundamental to the success of the event. The president of the entity, José Tabares, stressed the importance of keeping traditions alive and continuing to promote community meeting spaces that strengthen ties between members and neighbors.
With initiatives like this, the Society Casa del Miedo continues to consolidate its reactivation process, both in the number of members and in the offer of social and cultural activities aimed at its entire associative base.
