This Monday, Caridad Romero del Mas, the first president of the College of Social Graduates of Lanzarote, has passed away.
From the College they regret her death, "a brave and fighting woman has died, with more than fifty years of experience as a Social Graduate, a lover of the profession, she had the kindness to welcome new colleagues who were starting, advise them and accompany them in their beginnings, she leaves us a legacy of struggle for the profession with the added difficulty of having been the first woman in the Canary Islands".
"Thank you Caridad, for giving us your time and your friendship, for your strength and your humor", her colleagues say goodbye.
Her wake is installed in the Mémora Funeral Home in Arrecife and the mass will be held this Tuesday, August 8 at 11:00 noon.
