In the early hours of this Saturday, businessman José Cabrera, founder of the Tiagua Group, passed away at the age of 88.

Cabrera was also one of the founders of the Rancho de Pascuas of Tinajo. Urbano Herndez stated "today is a sad day for the Rancho de Pascuas of Tinajo, a master, an artisan who forged tambourines and swords with his hands, is leaving us. When the holidays arrived, he was the first at rehearsals and always giving advice because of his knowledge, our lead singer and golden tambourine of the Rancho de Pascuas is leaving, we will always remember you," he lamented.

The municipal wake of Tinajo and farewell will take place this Sunday, December 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of San Roque, Tinajo, and immediately afterwards his cremation will take place at the Mmora Lanzarote Funeral Home and Crematorium.
