Salvamento Marítimo rescued a precarious vessel near the coasts of Lanzarote on Wednesday night. About 55 people could be traveling on the vessel.
According to the Emergency Consortium, the people traveling in the dinghy called the CECOES asking for help, so Maritime Rescue moved to the area and the firefighters also searched the coast in the Playa Honda area.
Finally, it was Maritime Rescue that located the boat and transferred it to Puerto Naos where the migrants were assisted by the Red Cross.
