The Arrecife City Council, through the Mobility area, has put out to tender the supply, maintenance, conservation and installation of road signs in the municipality of Arrecife.

In this way, the capital of Lanzarote will undergo a transformation of the signs within the municipal area, as many of them are currently in an advanced state of deterioration.

The tasks to be carried out will be the maintenance services of the current traffic signs, as well as the installation of road barriers, traffic signs and the road signs themselves.

“We continue working to improve the roads and signs of Arrecife, many of them after years of neglect, to improve the lives of the residents of the municipality,” says the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez.

The tender is divided into two lots in which the Arrecife City Council will invest a total of 444,035.78 euros; divided into 350,577.84 euros for the Ordinary Service, and a second lot of 93,457.94 euros reserved for parties and events.

“With these amounts we will guarantee modern signage for the municipality, as well as its conservation to try to make them last as long as possible,” says the Councilor for Mobility, Ángela Hernández.

Interested companies have until December 26, at 1:00 p.m., to submit applications through the State Contracting Platform, and the company that is awarded the contract will have a period of one year to complete the installation and maintenance work.
