The Arrecife City Council has decided to maintain the celebration of the Carnival parade, which is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. from the Sports City.
After the weather alerts for wind and haze that forced the suspension of outdoor activities on the island this Sunday, the City Council has reported that local authorities, in contact with the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies, estimate that the favorable evolution of the haze and its dispersion will allow the departure of the carnival parade.
In fact, the State Meteorological Agency will deactivate the yellow wind warning that affects the island at 3:00 p.m. this Monday and the haze warning three hours later.
