Arrecife Local Police officers have located the minor Alejandro Figueroa, 13 years old, in the capital of Lanzarote, who had been missing since 5:00 PM last Wednesday, November 12, in the municipality of Tinajo and whose family had been searching for him throughout the city.

His mother had reported to the Civil Guard on Thursday morning that she had last seen her son Alejandro Figueroa Álvarez the previous afternoon, when she left him at his paternal grandmother's house in El Cuchillo (Tinajo).

The report filed with the Civil Guard states that the minor left the home without informing his grandmother and that he allegedly traveled to Arrecife on his own, where he supposedly met up with another minor and other young people of similar ages.

In statements to this media outlet, his mother had assured that he had been seen with a group of friends on Thursday afternoon in the capital of Lanzarote, after having been observed wandering through Puerto del Carmen (Tías) during the early morning. Finally, the officers located him and his father went to pick him up.
