The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Arrecife, led by Maite Corujo, has launched a summer camp at the CEIP Nieves Toledo offering 15 inclusive places aimed at girls and boys with functional diversity between 3 and 11 years old, which will be open until August 31.
Corujo thanks the Minister of Social Welfare of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Marci Acuña, "for his involvement and collaboration in the realization of this camp by financing the cost of these places that require qualified monitors", as well as the entity specialized in children's services and events Universo Mágico, for being in charge of its development.
Both made a visit to the camp this Tuesday in which, guided by the director of the aforementioned entity, Esther Betancort, they were able to see how participating children enjoy the multiple activities that are carried out daily such as crafts, dances, gymkhanas, theater, sports, karaoke or theme parties.
Maite Corujo encourages families in the municipality with children with functional diversity between 3 and 11 years old to enjoy this camp that has two schedules, from 7.30 to 15.30 hours and from 9 to 14 hours.
