A total of 130 Lanzaroteans needed the help of the NGO Cruz Roja throughout 2025. According to the entity's data, most of the aid was delivered in the form of domestic and personal hygiene kits, but monthly payments were also made to combat residential exclusion and cover water and electricity

The entity works on the island of Lanzarote with the economic support of the Gobierno de Canarias. In total, 2.477 vulnerable families from Las Palmas required the support of the entity.

As the NGO has informed La Voz, most of the people attended are in Gran Canaria, due to population size and also due to the economic support of the Gran Canarian Cabildo. In second position, is Lanzarote and in last place Fuerteventura.

Throughout the past year, Cruz Roja paid eight monthly payments to combat residential exclusion to five different people from Lanzarote. Under this concept, in the case of Gran Canaria it contributed 288 among 139 people and in that of Fuerteventura 27 among twelve people.

In Lanzarote, the entity did not deliver food cards, because they were covered by other entities on the island. However, it did deliver financial aid to nine families in Lanzarote to cover water and electricity expenses, as well as 120 hygiene and cleaning kits.
