Alejandro Carmona from Arrecife was ordained a priest this Saturday in the Cathedral of Santa Ana, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The bishop of the Diocese of the Canary Islands, José Mazuelos, was in charge of officiating Carmona's ordination ceremony.
The event was attended by a large number of family members, friends and people from different parishes, who did not want to miss the opportunity to accompany the new presbyter. It should be noted that most of those present traveled from Lanzarote, the island where Alejandro Carmona is from.
