The State Meteorological Agency has raised the warning for high temperatures to orange for this Thursday in Lanzarote. Initially, the yellow warning had been activated for this day, but finally it has increased the forecasts, since it expects that 37 degrees can be reached.
The previous day, the island was on maximum alert and with a red warning, exceeding 40 degrees in some parts of the island, reaching the highest temperatures in the municipality of Tías.
As for this Thursday, the orange warning will be active until 8:00 p.m., when forecasts indicate that temperatures will begin to drop.
In fact, there is no active warning for Friday, and maximum temperatures are expected to be 31 degrees, continuing to drop to 29 the following day.
