The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has raised the heat warning for this Friday in Lanzarote to orange.
According to the information updated this Thursday morning, this maximum temperature warning will remain in effect between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on September 19.
Meanwhile, the island will remain on yellow alert for reduced visibility due to suspended dust from this Thursday until at least this Saturday.
Looking ahead to Saturday, Aemet also maintains a yellow warning for high temperatures between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The forecast contemplates that temperatures of up to 37 degrees may be reached, with a high probability of 40 to 70%.
