Javier Ángel Balboa has come to the island to enjoy the matches played by Real Madrid's youth team, with children between eight and nine years old, who are playing the Group Stage of the Lanzarote Cup. The Real Madrid team is playing a match against Lanzarote this Thursday at 12:00 in the morning, another at 17:00 in the afternoon against Granada, and a third at 20:00 against El Lomo.
Javi Balboa was with Real Madrid for several seasons between 2004 and 2006, as well as between 2007 and 2008. The Spanish-Equatorial Guinean player shared a bench in the Real Madrid club with Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, the Brazilian Ronaldo, and Raúl González Blanco.
