A Former Real Madrid Player Enjoys the Lanzarote International Cup in Altavista

Former Real Madrid player Javier Ángel Balboa, known as Javi Balboa, is enjoying one of the Benjamin matches of the Lanzarote International Cup, which is being held this Thursday at the Agapito Reyes municipal stadium in Altavista, Arrecife.

Javier Ángel Balboa has come to the island to enjoy the matches played by Real Madrid's youth team, with children between eight and nine years old, who are playing the Group Stage of the Lanzarote Cup. Specifically, he has come to see his son, athlete Ethan Balboa, play, who plays in Benjamin A of Real Madrid.

The Real Madrid team is playing a match against Lanzarote this Thursday at 12:00 in the morning, another at 17:00 in the afternoon against Granada, and a third at 20:00 against El Lomo.

Javi Balboa was with Real Madrid for several seasons between 2004 and 2006, as well as between 2007 and 2008. The Spanish-Equatorial Guinean player shared a bench in the Real Madrid club with Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, the Brazilian Ronaldo, and Raúl González Blanco.

After that, he played for teams such as Benfica, FC Cartagena, and Albacete. Currently, he is a panelist on El Chiringuito de Jugones and another sports radio station.
