A boat is located at dawn near Lanzarote

59 people were traveling in the boat and are being transferred to Puerto Naos

Maritime Rescue has rescued a boat with 59 people east of Lanzarote at around 6:30 a.m. this Wednesday, according to the Emergency Consortium.

These are 52 men and five women of sub-Saharan origin whom the Helimer 202 of Maritime Rescue has located at 03.40 hours this Wednesday 83.3 kilometers east-northeast of Lanzarote, as reported to EFE sources of the entity.

The Salvamar Al Nair has gone to meet them, whose crew has been in charge of rescuing, at 06.09 hours, all the members of this new expedition of migrants who have set course for the Canary Islands from Africa.
