A group of young people has published a video on social networks where they enter a water gallery located in the Risco de Famara, a place where access is prohibited.

In the recording you can see how they enter despite the existence of a gate that does not allow passage. Once inside, they go to a depth of 300 meters as seen in one of the many signs that are placed along the gallery.

In addition, during their journey, the young people almost have to swim in some places, as the water reaches their shoulders. Entry to these places in Lanzarote is usually prohibited due to the risk of collapses or breathing problems that may occur once inside.

Also, in the Canary Islands there have been accidents in other water galleries, such as the tragedy of the Piedra de los Cochinos gallery, in Tenerife, in which six people died due to lack of oxygen.

Faced with this situation, the young people could face a fine, as it is an infraction to access these spaces when entry is totally prohibited.
