The Norwegian training ship 'Christian Radich' makes a stopover in Lanzarote

It will remain docked at La Marina de Arrecife until this Friday, when it will set sail for Gran Canaria to continue to the Caribbean

The Norwegian sailboat Christian Radich is docked in La Marina de Arrecife since last December 9 after a long journey from Norway.

The ship was built in 1937 and serves as a training ship for students who will continue to travel the world to the island of San Martin but before will make another stop in Gran Canaria to perform maintenance tasks.

The ship has a length of 62.5 meters, with a total length of 73 meters (including the keel) and a beam of 9.7 meters. It has a full load weight of 1,050 tons and reaches a speed of more than 10 knots, while under sail it reaches 14

In total the crew consists of 18 people and can accommodate up to 88 passengers. It will remain in the Port of Arrecife until this Friday, December 13, to continue on the 27th its journey across the Atlantic to San Martin.
