The IES San Bartolomé has been present at the National Meeting of European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS), held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Alcalá, in Alcalá de Henares.
The teacher and coordinator of the European Parliament Ambassador Schools Program, Eva Díaz, attended in representation of the center at these conferences that brought together teachers and coordinators of Ambassador Schools from different parts of Spain and that constitute the starting point for the development of the program during the new academic year.
The meeting allowed for learning about the program's lines of work, sharing experiences and good practices among centers, and establishing the foundations for the activities that will be developed throughout the current 2026-2027 school year.
Being an Ambassador School means going a step further than knowing how European institutions work; we want our students to experience European citizenship, participate, debate, reflect, and understand how decisions at the European level influence their daily lives and their personal and professional future.
With this participation, the IES San Bartolomé begins this new stage as an Ambassador School with commitment and enthusiasm, while also working on the promotion of European values, democratic participation, and the exercise of active, critical, and committed European citizenship with its students.
