The rains that fell this Tuesday, January 13, in Lanzarote have forced firefighters from the Consortium of Security and Emergencies to intervene in the municipality of Tinajo, after a flood was reported in the town of Mancha Blanca.
According to the Consortium, at 1:16 PM they were alerted by the Local Police of Tinajo due to the accumulation of water on a section of Avenida de Mancha Blanca (LZ-67), near the school, which was obstructing vehicle traffic. The service, classified as Level 1, was attended by personnel from the Southern Park, with the Bravo 2 vehicleOnce at the scene, firefighters carried out pumping operations with electric pumps, managing to remove the accumulated water and leave the road in suitable conditions for traffic. Once the intervention was completed, the Local Police and CECOES were informed, and the personnel subsequently returned to the station.
