Lanzarote will host the next April 25, 2026 the III Autism Congress Lanzarote, a meeting that will bring together professionals, autistic people, and families with the aim of advancing towards a more inclusive and rights-based society.
Organized by the association Sentirte and with the collaboration of the Tías City Council, the congress will be held at the Tías Municipal Theater and will feature the participation of six nationally renowned speakers, addressing key topics such as inclusive education, neurodiversity, sexuality, mental health, and respectful support models.
Under the motto In alliance: autistic voices and professionals for a social transformation with rights, this event places at the center the voices of autistic people themselves, promoting a change of perspective that overcomes traditional approaches and advances towards more human, accessible, and reality-adjusted models.
Among the speakers are prominent profiles such as Ana Murcia, Erik Aostri, Moisés Oliva, Autiblog, Plena Inclusión Canarias and Daniel Comín, who will provide a diverse and complementary vision from experience, research, and social intervention.
The congress is aimed at both professionals in the educational, social, and health fields, as well as families and the general public interested in understanding and accompanying autism from a respectful and rights-based perspective.
Lucía Gómez, president of the entity, highlights that it is not just a congress, but a space to listen, learn and build together a more just and inclusive society.
