The Early Attention Unit of the Lanzarote Health Area is moving its activity to the Mala Local Clinic starting this Monday, September 21, due to air conditioning improvement works being carried out in its facilities at the Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital.
The move to this clinic in the municipality of Haría is provisional and is expected to last approximately a month and a half, coinciding with the estimated period for the execution of the works. Once the actions are completed, the unit will resume its activity at its usual location in the Molina Orosa.
The work will improve the air conditioning conditions of the space designated for the unit and adapt it for the development of care activities. The temporary move has been organized with the aim of guaranteeing the continuity of care for minors during the development of the works.
During this period, the children receiving care at the unit will continue with their appointments and treatments at the Mala Local Clinic, so families will have to travel to this health center to attend their scheduled sessions.
The Lanzarote Health Area thanks families and patients for their collaboration and understanding regarding this temporary change of location, which is necessary to carry out the planned improvement works in the facilities.
The Early Attention Unit provides specialized care to the pediatric population with developmental disorders or at risk of suffering them, as well as support and guidance to their families, within the comprehensive care model aimed at promoting the development and autonomy of minors.
