The animal protector Sara has issued a warning to the population of Lanzarote after becoming aware of two suspected cases of canine poisoning in the municipality of Haría.
The collective calls for maximum caution and vigilance from all neighbors and pet owners who walk in the public spaces of the northern area. They recommend carefully watching the animals during walks to prevent them from ingesting any type of food, bait, or unknown substance found on public roads.
Likewise, health authorities and those responsible for the entity request that, in case of observing any suspicious element or attitude, avoid manipulating the object, immediately move the animals away, and urgently notify the security forces.
Although the protector insists that the objective of this alert is to "prevent and protect" without generating social alarm, they emphasize the importance of remaining vigilant while the events that occurred in the municipality are clarified.
