A 19-year-old woman has been moderately injured after suffering a collision between a car and a mini-bus, which ended with the car overturning. This was reported by the 112 Emergency Coordination Center.
The incident occurred this Tuesday, at 4:50 p.m., on the main road from Femes to Las Casitas, in the municipality of Yaiza.
At the time of assistance, the woman presented a moderate thoracic trauma. In addition, she had to be transferred by ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
An ambulance with basic life support from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), firefighters from the Security, Emergencies, Rescue, Prevention and Fire Extinction Consortium of Lanzarote, as well as the Civil Guard, were transferred to the scene.
Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters verified that those affected had left on their own means and proceeded to secure the vehicle that overturned and remove the fuel remains.
