Young man rescued from rocky area in El Varadero de Puerto del Carmen

The firefighters had to intervene because the area was difficult to access. The boy was transferred by ambulance to Molina Orosa

A boy had to be rescued after suffering a fall in a rocky area of the port of El Varadero in Puerto del Carmen, according to the Consortium of Emergencies.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. this Wednesday, September 2, when the young man fell on some rocks and suffered a dislocated shoulder.

After being alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police, firefighters, and an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were dispatched.

The firefighters had to intervene because the area was difficult to access; upon reaching him, they lifted him and took him walking to the ambulance. Subsequently, the paramedics took charge of him and transferred him by ambulance to the MOlina Orosa.
